Skill Development Training for Women – Cutting & Stitching
In Surampalem, a Gram Panchayat in Gangavaram Mandal, ASR District, Bhavitha Educational Society for Transformation (BEST) initiated a 90-day training program to empower semi-educated school dropout women. This program, focusing on cutting and stitching skills, brought together 48 women across five hamlets.
Through the support of local village elders and the Gram Panchayat, a tailoring center was established to enable these women to acquire valuable skills for economic independence.
